1. Platform overview
NestPlate is a technology platform that connects customers with independent home chefs. NestPlate does not prepare, inspect, package, transport, or handle food.
2. Chef responsibilities
Chefs are responsible for complying with cottage food laws, labeling allergens, maintaining food safety, and ensuring the legality of all food sold through the platform.
3. Customer acknowledgment
Customers acknowledge that food is prepared in home kitchens. Customers should review allergen details and order only when comfortable with these conditions.
4. Payments and refunds
Payments may be processed online or in cash at pickup. Refund outcomes depend on order status, timing, and chef policy. NestPlate may assist with dispute resolution, but is not the food seller.
5. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, NestPlate is not liable for food quality, preparation errors, allergen exposure, or chef conduct. Liability remains with the independent chef.
